Projects 2005 2009 | 2008 | 2007 | 2006 | 2005FCC Alarm Management - Lin & Associates completed the FCC alarm management project that consisted of the rationalization, implementation with Honeywell’s Experion® alarm management software suite, and graphic modifications. We also worked with the client to develop a total alarm management philosophy. Lin & Associates’ in house alarm management tools and system testing availability ensured that the alarm rationalization’s QA/QC was maximized for the unit. CCR Experion Operator Training - Lin & Associates provided instructor-led classroom training with unit specific operator training manuals for the Honeywell Experion® PKS. Training included hands-on exercises and a basic understanding quiz. We provided multiple training classes for the full refinery’s operations staff. Native Window to HMIWeb Conversion - Lin & Associates provided graphic conversions of approximately 100 Honeywell Native Window displays to Experion® PKS HMIWeb graphics utilizing the Lin & Associates Advanced Graphic Package R1.0. We also developed the graphic standards for the site and provided documentation and training. Clean Fuels GUS Graphic Creation - Lin & Associates developed new GUS displays and modified existing displays based on the P&IDs and instrument database provided. Displays were validated in our office against the simulated database. Lin & Associates provided cutover support for the installation of graphics as well as the needed images to update training documentation. DHT Project Engineering Services - Lin & Associates constructed the C200 and SCADA database including complex loops and five serial interface databases. We also built a number of process graphics and safety instrument system graphics to mimic the FCS logic using site standards. We supported the testing of all pieces during FAT. Operator & Instrument Technician Training - Lin & Associates provided instructor-led classroom style training for operations and instrumentation personnel. The customized training covered topics like Experion architecture, control concepts, field assemblies, PMIO & IO link, instrument ranges, client style graphics, alarms, and more. We provided multiple training classes that were attended by upwards of 50 people. Bailey Net 90 to DeltaV Conversion - Lin & Associates converted/updated Bailey control configuration and operator graphics to Emerson’s DeltaV. All Bailey function codes were converted to DeltaV Blockware, control schemes and were improved by utilizing the newer technology. We hosted the software FAT in our office, provided site installation and validation services, operator training and start-up services. |
