Projects 2006 2010 | 2009 | 2008 | 2007 | 2006 | 2005Customized Experion Training and Support - Lin & Associates provided customized Honeywell Experion® training for operations. This customized training consisted of take-home training manuals covering topics like Experion architecture, control concepts, graphics, trends, alarms, and more. We also developed a 25 question exam that was required to receive the training completion certificate. Crude Ratio & Blending Project - Lin & Associates developed a Crude Ratio Blender which consisted of 7 Pump/Flow controllers that could be selectively assigned and operated by 1 of 2 crude units. This project had an additional challenge…the controls were designed and implemented using a Honeywell Experion® C300 with series C I/O, but the operator was going to control the blender from a Honeywell GUS station. The following Honeywell technologies were employed to implement this project: C300 Blockware, SCMs, OPC, AM-CL, AM based Regulatory control, GUS graphics, and HMIWeb graphics – utilizing the Lin & Associates Experion Advanced Graphic Package R2.3. We provided site installation and validation services, operator training and start-up assistance. Experion Graphic Conversion - Lin & Associates converted approximately 100 Honeywell Native Window to Honeywell Experion® R210 HMIWeb. We developed overview displays, process displays, and safety interlock displays using the client provided shape library and styles. All converted graphics were verified against client provided NW displays, P&IDs, and the point database for accuracy. Prior to graphic implementation Lin & Associates provided instructor-led Honeywell Experion training for operations, using customized training manuals and running unit graphics. GUS Subpictures Standard Development - Lin & Associates developed Honeywell GUS subpictures for IPF (Instrumented protective function) style graphics. We analyzed all related subpictures and created a consistent style and function throughout. At the end of the project we provided a detailed document with the specifics for each shape, showing screenshots, functionality, and parameters. Blending and Shipping Conversion - Lin & Associates worked with Honeywell Toronto to convert an AM based BRC/BPC to Honeywell Experion® ACE based Blending Package for Diesel and Jet Blenders. We create Blend Header displays and related operating process graphics by using Lin & Associates Experion Advanced Graphic Package R2.3. We provided assistance on loop check, start-up and provided Experion operator training. |
