Senior Process Control Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Conceptualize, design, test, implement, and document process control systems that meet client requirements and standards.
  • Responsible for DCS configuration of moderate to complex system applications.
  • Responsible for FAT/Start-up of process automation solutions.
  • Develop control system strategy based on client supplied P&ID’s.
  • Project management duties.
  • Provide assistance in commercial aspects such as; Proposal estimation.
  • Develop mentoring skills to develop and assist less senior engineers.

Requirements:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, control system emphasis
  • 5 - 10 years hands-on experience in industrial controls development utilizing Honeywell or Emerson DCS.
  • Refining or Petrochemical experience.
  • HMI Design
  • Previous Client training experience a plus
  • Experience with safety systems and/or PLC programming preferred
  • Excellent communication skills within our organization as well as customers and vendors
  • Proficient in the use of PC applications (MS Excel, Word etc…)
  • Familiar with Server/Client concepts, switches etc…
  • Team Player
  • Availability and willingness to travel 35% of work time.
